Fix Binance 'Withdrawal Suspended due to Risk Control'

Updated: 11/29/2025

You try to send USDT or Bitcoin to another wallet, and Binance blocks you: 'Withdrawal suspended due to risk control'. This is a security lock triggered by Binance's AI to prevent hacks. It usually happens if you recently changed your password, logged in from a new device, or if the receiving wallet address has been flagged.

The '24-Hour' Rule (Password Reset)

Did you change your password, enable 2FA, or unlock your email recently? Binance automatically disables withdrawals for 24 hours after any major security change to protect you from hackers. You cannot bypass this. You must wait exactly 24 hours.

Method 1: Complete Facial Verification (KYC)

If the system suspects your account was sold or hacked, it will lock funds until you prove your face.

Step 1: Security Center

Go to Profile Icon > Security.

Step 2: Facial Verification

Look for 'Facial Verification' or 'Intermediate Verification'. Click Verify Again. Use your phone camera to scan your face. Once approved (usually 15 minutes), withdrawals unlock.

Method 2: Clear Cache (App Glitch)

Sometimes the 'Suspended' message is a cached UI error from a previous maintenance window.

  • Android: Settings > Apps > Binance > Clear Cache.
  • iOS: Reinstall the app.
  • Desktop: Press Ctrl + Shift + R to hard refresh the dashboard.

Method 3: Check 'System Maintenance'

Before panicking, check if the specific Network is down.

If you are withdrawing USDT (TRC20), Binance might have paused that specific network for upgrades. Try selecting a different network like BEP20 (BSC) or ERC20 to see if the withdrawal button lights up.
