Fix LinkedIn 'Something went wrong' & Feed Not Loading
Updated: 11/29/2025
You are trying to apply for a job or check a message, and LinkedIn crashes with: 'Something went wrong. Try reloading.'. Sometimes the feed just spins forever. This is notoriously common on Chrome and Edge. It happens when LinkedIn's aggressive caching system conflicts with an updated browser version or an ad-blocker.

Method 1: Clear 'Linkedin' Cookies Only
LinkedIn cookies are 'sticky'. You need to forcefully remove them.
Step 1: Site Data
In Chrome, click the Lock Icon in the URL bar > Cookies and site data > Manage cookies.
Step 2: Delete
Click the Trash Can icon next to www.linkedin.com and linkedin.com. Refresh the page. You will be logged out, but the feed should load correctly upon sign-in.
Method 2: Disable AdBlockers
LinkedIn's feed contains 'Promoted' posts. Some ad blockers (uBlock, AdGuard) break the entire feed script if they can't filter the ads correctly.
Method 3: Check HTTP/2 Support
Rarely, antivirus software interrupts the secure HTTP/2 connection LinkedIn uses.
If you use Avast or AVG, turn off 'HTTPS Scanning' in the Web Shield settings temporarily to see if the site loads.
